KEYFRAMES! CSS ANIMATION! WOO!
First dabble with keyframes during the January hackathon hosted by Spotify. Was a great learning experience, CSS is a very powerful tool that's creating dynamic and engaging experience with out the use of heavier languages and frameworks. Though it's not completely supported the available browser support is still very comprehensive. An exciting feature to have in your toolkit!
I'm sure this could be optimized greatly but this was a very short hackathon (~8hrs, with a good portion going to brainstorming). This layout starts to unravel quickly, screens larger than 1500 pixels will see unsightly whitespace, but for the demo it served our purposes well. I'm looking at ways to improve this so it's not as heavy without solely using JavaScript, limited to CSS only if possible, if you'd like to share any thoughts on an approach I'd be interested to hear them!
